The location was good. The hotel was very near a client office building and the hotel overlooked the James River. I had problems with the hotel maintenance. I had a table lamp that was not working and the drain stopper in the bathroom sink was not working. They fixed the lamp but not the sink, after two requests. Upon check out they discounted a portion of my bill.

I had a very nice stay. I would like to have had internet access in the conference areas. The internet service in the lobby did not work but the room connection was fine.

This hotel made me feel relaxed: They were quick with the service and the employees were knowledgeable about the facility.

It offered consistent quality and access to the courtesy lounge.

All of the people I encountered working in the hotel were very friendly. The bed and the linens were incredibly comfortable and much more luxurious than I would have expected. The room was not very well lit, however, and one of the lamps was not even working.

This hotel made me feel pampered: It made me feel pampered by providing a relaxation CD. There were lots of pillows and the blankets and the sheets were really comfortable.

I would definitely stay in this hotel again as it is centrally located in relation to all the tourist places we wanted to see. I would recommend this hotel to other tourists.

This hotel made me feel excited: They just happen to be close to the research I was doing. Perhaps that was the real excitement.

I was not impressed with the Holiday Inn. The Fairfield and Motel 8 are much better and more friendly. I will never pay for one of your rooms when the service and rooms are much better for much less at the other two.
