The hotel was out of the way. The only restaurant was in the hotel and they were shorthanded. The waiter was incompetent. The tables were not cleared.

Dog friendly

It’s in a nice setting, a little off the beaten track and on a golf course, so plenty of places to walk with your dog. They have a helpful staff, and they let us check in a little early. Nice rooms, comfortable beds and linens, and not too expensive. We have stayed here twice and will return again.
I am very likely
to return to the Crowne Plaza Resort Asheville.
I
would definitely recommend it to friends.

The place is hard to find and difficult to enter. The staff was pretty much non-responsive for luggage assistance.

Crowne Plaza Hotels are an absolutely incredible value! My fiancé and I will definitely use them again. We were treated like VIPs throughout our entire stay.

We arrived in the evening on the Saturday following Thanksgiving, and we were pleasantly surprised. I am a member of the Priority Rewards Club (though the lowest "class" of the club). The staff was extremely friendly.
When we arrived in our room, it was clean, fresh, and absolutely comfortable! You will get a great night's sleep. The hotel was quiet even though they were busy due to the holidays.
We ate at the Pros' Table (restaurant on site - 3rd floor), and the wait staff, wine, and food were all wonderful. (Try the Pork Camembert!) Our waiter was friendly and always there when needed. We stayed on the first floor of near the golf course.
We will definitely stay here again when we go to Asheville.
While the hotel access is through a parking lot, technically, it's an access road to the shopping plaza; it's easy to find if you look for the signs which are clearly marked.
You won't be disappointed when staying here!
I am very likely
to return to the Crowne Plaza Resort Asheville.
I
would definitely recommend it to friends.

It will be a nice place when construction is complete.
This hotel made me feel comfortable: The actual rooms were nice, but the hallways had room for improvement.

The staff was totally oblivious to our needs for assistance with luggage. This was both at check in time and check out time. On both occurrences we handled our own luggage. Normally this is ok, but in this instance we had some heavy articles that needed to be moved on a cart. There was no person to be found and no carts, either. This was only our second experience with a Crowne Plaza hotel. It was actually better than the last one but I will never stay again at a Crowne Plaza hotel.

The wireless internet service was less than expected. The room was very comfortable.
This hotel made me feel comfortable: The rooms were large. The beds were upscale and very comfortable.

The hotel is a nice place. The place needs some updating, but it looks like they're working on it. We liked it.
This hotel made me feel important: It has a nice name and place. It makes us little people look like big shots.

I was especially pleased with the comfort of the bed. I found the hotel's efforts to give me a good nights sleep well done. They have a very friendly staff.

We were staying under 'employee discount' conditions. This particular Holiday Inn was undergoing upgrading and refurbishing at the time of our stay. Our wing was quite a mess, but the main portion of the building was very nice and dining was pleasant.

For the price we paid the hotel was definitely not worth it. There was dirty silverware in the hallway and on the patio by the pool. The patio did not look clean at all. The staff was rude and standoffish.
