Crowne Plaza Knoxville Hotel

The Crown Plaza is conveniently located in the downtown of Knoxville in walking distance to many restaurants, parks, and other entertainment venues. The staff is very helpful and accomodating. The housekeeping is very thorough. The facility itself is kept immaculately clean. The building is, however, in dire need of renovation. The rooms are small and the ventillation is extremely poor. The windows in our room did not open and there wasn't even an electrical air vent in the bathroom, causing the mirrors to fog up rather quickly when the shower was running. The air-conditioning unit was especially tempermental and would shut off even though the room was still humid and hot. There are not enough electrical outlets and what few are there are located in inconvenient places. The layout for the carport/parking garage entrance/exit is simply dangerous.

The stay was overall a good experience.

We found everything to be fine. I would recommend it to anyone who is going that way.

The place was very convenient and relaxing.
