I recently stayed at the Crowne Plaza Riverfront Hotel located in downtown St. Paul, MN as part of a student advertising competition. The staff was more than accommodating to our convention and other individuals who had rented the convention room out for a wedding. They were very expedient in setting up for each event.
In regard to the rooms, the hotel room had a gorgeous view of the Mississippi River, with large windows to accentuate it. The rooms were fitted with sleep number beds that allow visitors to adjust firmness levels to the bed to allow for optimal comfort while sleeping. After a well-rested and comfortable nights sleep, I had realized I had forgotten my toothbrush. The hotel staff was very friendly and when I called down requesting one, it was brought up to my room within minutes, along with a complimentary newspaper to read while drinking coffee.
The hotel itself is located in downtown St. Paul along side the river and within blocks of many attractions including the Cathedral of St. Paul, the Science Museum of Minnesota and the Xcel Energy Center. When asked to recommend a nearby restaurant, the staff was more than knowledgeable about the local area and was a great help.
The Crowne Plaza Riverfront hotel holds everything a visitor could wish for in a hotel and I would strongly recommend this hotel to anybody visiting the Minneapolis/ St. Paul area.
