Anyone who rates this above a 2 is simply not used to staying in a nice hotel. The only reason I'm giving it a two now is because the bell hops were very nice. Our reservations were botched upon arrival, and the receptionist (who initiated the check-in process) tried to then say she couldn't help because she was about to leave and was closing her till. Despite being "renovated in 2004" the hotel was dirty, the elevators creaked as if about to fall, and the front two rooms smelled strongly of vomit. The beds were nice, but the bathrooms were cramped. When we ordered room service, the food service lady spoke to us as if we were severely inconveniencing her with our order. They called 3 times in a row to report on why our order was going to be a problem. Our food was finally delivered ....but was wrong. The staff then called a fourth time wanting us to relinquish the bad food we had ordered because of a problem at the front desk with our payment option. I wouldn't go back in that hotel even to hide from the rain.
