The incompetence of the staff was mind-boggling. We finally accepted that if we had any kind of question or need for service, we would need to go down to the front desk to handle it in person, and it almost always took more than one person to handle the simplest request. At a Motel 6, OK - but at a Crowne Plaza?

The topper was when I checked out - when they brought my vehicle up from valet parking (which is a separate parking area to which only the bell staff have access), one of the doors had a huge dent in it. That door wouldn't even open. I filed a report with the hotel and waited for a phone call. I returned to the hotel the following week on my way out of town, and was again assured that I would be contacted as soon as the manager was in the next day. This happened over a month ago, and I haven't even had the courtesy of a single phone call.

The restaurant staff were helpful, but the hotel staff haven't the first clue about serving a customer. After my stay here, I will never stay in a Crowne Plaza hotel again.

I liked the location, the cruise terminal shuttle and I appreciated the room upgrade.

It was an excellent deal for a park and cruise combination. We would definitely stay there again if we cruise out of San Pedro. The location was good and the room was very comfortable.

The price was reasonable for a very large and pleasant room, breakfast for two and a safe place to leave our car during a fourteen day cruise. We would definitely stay there again and we would recommend it to others.

Very nice hotel room; clean, spacious and nicely furnished. The beds were very comfortable. We booked the park and sail package, since the hotel was very convenient to the cruise terminal. The breakfast buffet (included) was a full breakfast and very nice.

The hotel offered underground parking for our car during the cruise and frequent shuttle trips to the cruise terminal. The hotel even offered a shuttle to our church on Sunday morning. From our 8th story window we could see the cruise terminal and were able to watch our ship come in early Sunday.

The park and sail package is a great deal and I would book this hotel again for any future cruises leaving from San Pedro.

Their computers went down, so no one could check in. They gave away rooms that people had already checked into by removing their luggage from the rooms and giving them to other people. Management was no help. Told us we were the ones with the problem. They would not refund our money even though it was their fault completely. Even corporate said we had to take it up with management. We had no help from anyone. I would hate for this to happen to anyone else.

The room was not ready on arrival. I was asked to sit in the lobby and I would be called. After three people came in and were assigned rooms I went to the counter and asked about my room. They did not remember me! I had sat in the lobby for two hours!

It's clean and has a reasonable, free, exercise room. The beds were comfortable. It's close to the office I was visiting and has a discount rate for that company. It charge's for internet access which is a negative. Most hotels in this category provide free internet access, only the expensive ones charge.

It's a low-key, moderately priced hotel, but it has a slightly better ambience than most hotels at this level. Although it's on the edge of a slightly run-down neighborhood, there seems to be good security.

I liked the amenities and especially the room. I disliked the fact that no one knew how to access the internet in the crew room or via wireless connection.

It is a good place to spend the night before our cruise left the next morning.
