For the price of the room, it was an absolute rip-off. The room smelled terribly of ciggarettes although the front desk clerk insisted the is no smoking in any of the rooms. Construction began at 7am in the room next door to mine. The room had burns in the chair and stains on the sink in the bathroom. Also, the breakfast buffet was aweful.
The Hampton Marina was a great experience this past weekend. They are under renovation, but are trying the best they can to make your stay as pleasant as possible. We arrived at the hotel fairly late (around 11:00 p.m.) and upon exiting the highway were in a "bad part of town" but within a mile we came into the Marina area and felt safe. The garage was detached from the hotel, so that was a little different, but we were allowed to unload and then move the vehicle. The sleep number beds were very comfortable and our view was spectacular. We enjoyed a few hours at the pool. I have a 10 year old and 7 year old and they had a blast. I would recommend this hotel and would definately stay here again should the need arise.

The location was perfect for our destination. The room with the Sleep Comfort bed was selected but the discount paperwork towards the purchase of a Sleep Comfort bed was not provided as stated. All else was acceptable.
