I will not stay at a Crowne Plaza hotel again. In fact, I will be sure to research what other hotels (if any) are owned by the same corporation and plan on staying clear. My son and I traveled to Baton Rouge for our first ever LSU game. We stayed in room 302 and we could hear the family in the next adjoining room like they were sitting on our bed. The room was disgusting and the initial smell was quite revolting. The vent in the bathroom was incredibly dusty and the tub was filthy. There was a ring on one corner of the tub where the former patron must have parked their wine glass. Only after I had dried my body after showering did I realize the towel that I was using had black stains all over it. .

Stayed at this hotel for two nights in January. The hotel is no longer a Holiday Inn Select, but has converted to a Crowne Plaza. We had a room with a recently renovated bathroom. It was absolutely gorgeous with travertine tile and granite! The...

I had a confirmed reservation for about two months.Arrived at 2:00pm told could not check in until 4:00 pm.At 4:00pm still no room.At 5:00pm no room and told may not get one. Lucky found another room. Won't be back.
I stayed in this hotel 5-16-08 and this is what I encountered:

This hotel is unbelievable. This hotel was absolutely everything I had imagined it to be. The Rooms were clean, the staff was very friendly, the breakfast was great. Everything about this place is magnificent. We will without a doubt, stay at the holiday inn select every time we come back, I couldn't believe the GYM!! If anyone is considering, I highly recommend this place.
Employees very friendly, someone even brought us a cart and helped us get our stuff from our car and brought it all the way to our room. The lobby is beautiful, the pictures here doesn't do justice. Very clean rooms. The bed is to die for. It is ...
I spent a romantic evening at this hotel and I absolutely enjoyed both the service and the accomodations. The beds truly are the best in Baton Rouge and the room was roomy and clean. The bathroom, while a little on the "typical...
