The staff was very helpful and first rate. However the overall condition of the room was substandard. It was not an issue with cleanliness, it was just old and needed to be updated. The carpet was very worn, and it seemed to need a renovation.

This hotel made me feel welcome: The staff was very personal, and even with our large group all arriving at the same time, check in was very smooth and easy.

I love staying there whenever in Detroit.

We stayed in the bridal suite, and I expected it to be roomier, with a more 'special' feel to it. Also, the water pressure in the shower was awful, the hot tub took forever to fill, and there was a limited amount of hot water.

The location was excellent for my business trip as it was right next to expressways and malls. There was a slight problem with my check in and the staff treated me with respect regardless. Room service was excellent.

This hotel is a tired and well-used property. The quality was less than what I expected from the brand.

We were there for a major family reunion/event, for which many of the hotel's largest facilities had been reserved. Despite this, however, there was never anyone at the desk who could tell us in which room some of the events were scheduled to take place,.
