The hotel was clean, the staff friendly, and the room was comfortable and everyone enjoyed themselves.

I had a nice large room. I didn't spend a lot of time in the hotel to experience much. They had friendly workers.

Parking is a problem there on weekends.

The front desk didn't have our reservations correct upon arrival. The initial front desk person was not very helpful or knowledgeable about her job. Another front desk person was surly and rather rude. This person also gave erroneous information regarding museum opening times and days. They did not have a concierge as advertised. They did not return phone calls regarding specific questions. They did not have tickets to events as was indicated by phone before we left from home. They did not provide late checkout times. The bell staff was excellent! They were very courteous and helpful. The maid service was good. The elevators were very slow and very small. Some of the restaurant help were good, but some rather rude. The bartenders were very nice. The cocktails were very expensive. The location was good.

The hotel was in a convenient location. I didn't like having only valet service for parking.

The Crowne Plaza Hamilton Washington, DC is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. The staff was first rate. From the front door to the room, everyone seemed eager to help and answer any of your questions.

The problem came with the valet service (which is a contracted company and not actually employees of the hotel). Only one time did we get our car within the 20 minutes that they request. Valet damaged our rental car on day 2 of our trip, causing us to miss all but the 4th quarter of the Redskins game. Valet was miserable from the first day. Hotel staff did everything they could to make up for our inconvenience of having to file police reports and insurance paperwork. We met with the General Manager, who was more than willing to help salvage the rest of our trip to the best of his ability. Very apologetic and sincere in his attempts. I cannot tell you how wonderful this hotel is. Unfortunately valet parking is mandatory, so I advise taking a picture before leaving your car with the valet, just as proof. The hotel and valet service were able to determine who messed up the car. So I am sure that he was reprimanded appropriately.

Please consider this hotel for your stay. The bed is the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept in. Hotel is convenient to most anything. Restaurants close early, so keep that in mind. Our friends' room was kind of small, but our room was very, very roomy. Sleep package waiting on the bed upon arrival with CD, ear plugs, calming linen spray, etc. Robe available in the bathroom. Be prepared to do a lot of tipping.

Despite the valet nightmare, I would definitely stay in the hotel again.

I was not notified at check in of the impending emergency alarm system. This startled my wife and me, prompting a call to the front desk to inquire about the alarm.

The hotel is in a good location. But it lacked amenities such as an in-room refrigerator. The bed was somewhat uncomfortable -- the sheets were mismatched and did not fit properly.

I liked the very nice bathrooms and the good room service.

Room lighting was dim. First room offered was small and dark, but it was changed after requesting a change.

The rates on the room service menu and what is charged is different, breakfast not delivered on time, did not complete order correctly.
