Crowne Plaza Clark Hotel

The hotel was what we would expect from a Crowne Plaza hotel. All the services and the amenities were from good to excellent. The only annoyance took place during the reservation process, requiring several phone calls and a request for assistance from the events coordinator to solve. In all other respects, the hotel was fine. We would stay there again without hesitation and we would recommend it both for a place to stay and for a place to hold an event such as a dinner or a party.

This hotel made me feel entertained: We attended a dinner and party held there. The staff was excellent and made quite an effort to make the party work well.

It lacked the safety grip in the shower. I would prefer firm mattresses.

The room service door hanger menu should indicate different weekend hours. Our plans were affected by breakfast arriving 45 minutes later than we expected; half an hour after we were told it would arrive even with the different hours.

I stayed there for my sister's wedding. It exceeded expectations and is a good value for the money. All guests from the wedding who stayed there were pleased.

The hotel is convenient to Garden State Parkway. It has very comfortable beds and nice size rooms. But the restaurant breakfast buffet was unattractive; the eggs were overdone, and they did not keep hot serving containers filled. The bacon was overdone, and there was only one two-slot toaster. However, the waitress service was good.

This hotel made me feel relaxed: They did not rush you to check out. They allowed you to eat breakfast leisurely with friends without being rushed to leave.
