52 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
Being disabled no one got me a wheelchair to get from the bus to the front desk so I had to slide along the wall. I got to the front desk and they were busy blowing up balloons for someones birthday. My check in time took at least fifteen to twenty minutes due to this minor distraction and the talking going on while I was trying to check in. Then she checked me in and I stood there and she again returned to blowing up balloons and then remembered I needed a wheelchair and help to my room. That to me is the worst service I have ever had at a hotel and I travel a lot and need somewhere to stay for a night when landing in Chicago. So now I do a straight trip avoiding the hotel stay, with that kind of service, I had no choice.
I am not likely
to return to the Crowne Plaza Chicago O'Hare Hotel & Conference Center.
I would not recommend it to friends.

The only problem that we encountered was with the parking. It was expensive and the ticket that you have to use gave us trouble the whole time. We had to have it switched several times
The items left on the bedside table were very pleasant. The room, overall, was just very comfortable. We were there on our honeymoon.

The hotel facilities were well kept, the hotel had a comfortable atmosphere. The location was not very convenient for getting out and doing other things in the Chicago area.

to return to the Crowne Plaza Chicago O'Hare Hotel & Conference Center.
I might recommend it to friends.

The location was hard to get to. There was so much traffic that getting in and out was ridiculous. The room was missing towels and amenities that they offered free in other rooms. When I asked the person at the front desk if they could check with continental for the time of my flight, they referred me to the computer lab to check online. You had to pay to use the computer and the internet in the hotel. The only redeeming quality that I saw of the hotel was that one staff member was nice and held our luggage till our room was ready to be checked into.

The only problem that we encountered was with the parking. On top of paying for the hotel, the parking was rather expensive. We had to take a parking ticket and have it validated, and one several occasions ours did not work even after we had taken it to the front desk. We had to go several times to receive a new ticket. Overall, however, our stay was fine.

I liked the decorations in the lobby and some of the smaller amenities. The staff was also friendly. However, I felt that the hotel itself was isolated and pricing of items in the hotel was inordinately expensive to take advantage of that fact.
