The hotel itself does not sweep you off your feet upon arrival neither does the staff. I call this place home one week out of every month, my company has a corporate contract with this hotel so I am required to visit often.

The decor is somewhat dated, it was surprising to here that a major renovation was done in 2002.

Front desk staff is not bad, but no one from this area will be winning employee of the month honors. No grand welcoming, the doormen look past you as they pop tic tacs and take smokes, I have never had a door opened, been helped with baggage or any of the other things that I believe fall into a doorman's job description. I suppose those things do not apply to me.

The Dux restaurant is quite lovely, the steaks are mouthwatering and side dishes should be considered family platters. Service is above average, I have always found the service here to be attentive and prompt.

The bar is another story, service is slow and condescending. There is also a strong smell of bigotry towards minorities and female patrons by the bartender. I don't recommend getting a drink here, if you are hungry order room service.

The location was good. It was close to several restaurants and a mall. The construction around the mall was a nuisance. The disturbance in the hallway outside our room was irritating and it was not handled well. We did not get a good rest that night.

My daughter had a swim meet so that is why we booked that hotel close to the college. It was a wonderful hotel. There was a little gift bag in my room. It was nice and quiet and very clean. I would definitely stay again.

This hotel made me feel extravagent: The room was lovely and the little gift bag was a nice surprise.

For our purposes, it was excellent. Prices in the city were much higher and it was only a short ride into the city. I would definately stay there again.

It was just an overnight stay. We arrived late and left early. The hotel was chosen for the location.
