Crowne Plaza-San Marcos Golf Resort Traveler Review

A great excape

The hotel was a little hard to find at first. You wouldn't think a 162-acre property would be hidden this well, but they did a good job. We came into town for a convention last week, and we had nothing but spectacular service while I was there.

Upon arrival, we checked into a room off the golf course. "Casita's" I guess is what the staff members call them. The agent at the front desk informed us that the rooms were not as updated as those in the main house of the hotel, but the area was nice, and quiet-which is what we were looking for.

The room was great! It had just been re-modeled, and we had a view of a private pool and the golf course. It was beautiful! However, the only thing I have to say is that it is quite a hike from the Casita area to the main lobby where the convention was taking place. The bell service did not hesitate to offer their services, and came to pick us up whenever we called for them. That was very handy. Overall, the service was great, and I would reccommend this property to anyone else that is leaning towards staying here.
