We went to the Crown Inn because it was affordable and not too far from downtown. We should've just gone somewhere else! As soon as you open the door to check in, the curry or whatever smell that is about knocks you out. We arrived just before 11pm checked in, prayed that our room wouldn't smell like that (which it didn't or we would've been sick and HAD to leave) and when we got in at first glance everything seemed clean BUT it was so hot and muggy it took until the middle of the night to cool the room down and then we woke up freezing. There were cigarette holes in the comforters and sheets (which it was a non smoking room), one of the washcloths hanging by the sink had a pube hair on it, and one of the towels on the rack was covered in a wad of long brown hair. The tub had a pube on it and the bottom of it had streaks of brown and pink stained on it and there was a nasty brown stain under the tub faucet. We couldn't afford to leave so we used our own towels and pillows (thank God we had some with us), and we left first thing in the morning to go to Rite Aid to buy cleaning products to disinfect and clean the place! We put our clothes from the night before back on b/c we felt so gross and in the 10 minutes it took me to check in the night before, my shirt had absorbed the curry smell and over my perfume and deodorant that I re-sprayed and put on I could still smell it that was 10 hours after I had left the office and I wasn't even in there long at all!! Our flip flops never left our feet. Also, the next morning I asked for new sheets, more toilet paper, and our trash to be taken out (thanks to cleaning it ourselves and using paper towels for everything) and the only thing that was done was he handed me a roll of toilet paper. We sucked it up and made the best of it, but I guarantee we will NEVER be back.

Wow, this place has pathetic service.
I asked for extra pillows and an ashtray and the women there said No pillows, and told me her husband would bring an ashtray, and he never arrived.
My toilet was also stopped, so I went to the front, there was a man there this time I told him of problem, then he asked me what I did! I told him nothing and then he gave me a plunger. I advise everyone to stay away stay away go to the Ramada instead.

I chose to stay at the Ramada because it had an indoor pool. The rooms were big, clean, and great. I travel through Chattanooga consistently and will continue to stay here each trip.

I checked into the hotel at 11 pm and went straight to sleep. When I woke up, the following morning, I found a dirty toilet, hair in the shower, and a dirty washcloth that was hanging up in the shower. I cringed when I saw this because I had slept in the bed without checking. The owner would never return phone calls so I went to Corporate. Im still waiting. Do not stay at this hotel.

I booked with Ramada on the internet because of the indoor pool. When I got there, the pool was not working. The motel had a musty smell in the lobby and in the halls. When I got to the room, the ceiling was leaking and the room had a musty smell. At that time, I decided I was not staying at this motel and asked for a refund and was told I could not have one since I booked on the internet. I left anyway since it was not up to the standards I have in staying in a motel for the price I was charged ($63.00). The front desk worker was rude, to top it off.
