I have stayed at this hotel about 3 times a year for about 6 years now .. I have lots of family in the area and this is a central location to both my mom & dad's side of the family. I choose to stay because I can get up or lay around until I am ready to "visit" during each of my visits. I did notice the hotel starting going down hill in service but what changed my mind was I was driving from MD with my kids after working 8hrs Thanksgiving Eve and I decided I was gonna take a new way to NC ... poor choice because as soon as I hit VA .. I started feeling sick .. stuffy nose and sneezing I finally made it to NC at 2:30 am in the morning & a staff person came out to help me with my 3 kids and luggage and told me he knew I was coming and waited up. I was floored and so happy that customer service is not thing of the past. So although I cant give them a perfect 10 because the rooms are not as clean as I would like .. the service that I rec'vd that night will keep me coming back along with the Food Lion, Sanibel's (Seafood Spot) & my fav cuz'n across the street and Oak Hollow Mall. so mad that Wal- Mart is no longer there.... but hey .....

I was not at all comfortable at this hotel - hair on the sheets, scuffed and scratched walls, dirty snagged carpet, filth on the doors and a hard, cheap mattress. On the plus side, the staff was EXTREMELY nice and courteous and the wireless...

The room was larger than I expected and very comfortable. I had to ask for extra towels, but the request was promptly complied with. It was a very pleasant stay.

I was moving into the Highpoint area and needed a place for myself and family for a few months. They were very nice when my family joined me and went out of their way, the front desk staff and the manager made us feel like part of their family. I would recommend them to anyone.

Find the best deals using Travelocity on Yahoo! (of course). Called and reservations couldn't touch travelocity's price. Our room had a queen bed, reclining sofa, new looking kitchen with full refrig and microwave. Bath is adequate, towels are a...
The hotel was clean and adequate. It was nice having a full kitchen in the room. Would have liked clean towels more frequently than every four days. When we requested fresh towels, though, they were replaced immediately.
