My reason for needing hotel accommodations falls into the "worst case" category. Regretfully, I was returning home to attend the funeral of a family member.
With the calling hours scheduled for 3:00 pm, a normal hotel check-in time was not going to suit my needs. I searched the internet, called 1-800 numbers was told "early check-ins" are unavailable for any reason. When I called the Stow (Ohio) Marriott and explained my situation, they not only offered expressions of sympathy and understanding, but assured me that my needs would be met to the best standards they can offer.
They provided the highest level of professionalism and efficiency. It was a comforting voice and a secure feeling at a very difficult time. We travel for both business and pleasure. You can be assured that from this point forward we will always choose Marriott for our needs.
