Courtyard by Marriott San Diego Downtown Hotel - Page 2

While I was here for business, my family and some friends from San Francisco came to join us. We had a great time. The hotel staff was very accommodating. They had small children and needed a refrigerator; crib etc. and their requests were met with no problems and no charge!

I had requested a southern facing room and was also accommodated. The rooms were kept spotless (not easy with two barely pre-teens). The desk was extremely helpful with directions to local attritions and restaurant recommendations. The hotel restaurant was an excellent choice for breakfast, buffet or from menu. The food was fresh and well prepared. The omelet chefs were jovial and also offered help with where to go and what to do in San Diego. This was a great travel experience, and even tough I was working it seemed vacation-like. My only reservation is for paying for internet access. Not just here but at any hotel. Roll that cost into the cost of the room, but don't make anyone pay $10.00 a day for access to email and the web.

I enjoyed the stay. It would have been nice to have Wi-Fi in the room.

It's in a beautiful renovated 1920's bank building. It has a convenient downtown location. There are not many amenities. The restaurant is overpriced.

I had a very enjoyable stay.

The only way to get to your room is on the elevator, the only way to get your luggage there is down steps. There was no ramp. The location was great, and shopping and great restaurants were close by.

I thought it was very elegant. It was in a good location and had a friendly staff. It offered a good price in relation to other hotels in the area.

The staff was absolutely wonderful and really helpful with local information. They seemed to go out of their way to accommodate guests. They were good with safety tips and local transport information as well.

This hotel made me feel important: They welcomed me and my family as vip's.
