It’s one of the nicer Courtyards. The hotel staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The pool area is very nice. It’s a good value for the location.

36 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for business
This Courtyard is located approximately ten minutes North of San Diego International airport, between Lindbergh field and Miramar Air Station. I like it because of its location and because it has a very good restaurant and bar. I've stayed there approximately fifteen times over the past three years and have never had a bad experience. The staff is very professional, the rooms are clean and up-to-date, and the value for the money is good.
This hotel made me feel practical: When traveling for business, I look for a place that allows me to get work done, both in and out of the hotel. I also look for a hotel that is not excessively expensive but also offers amenities that are unique. I think this particular Courtyard meets these needs well at a price that is not excessive. I wouldn't feel comfortable staying at a very expensive hotel, mainly because it would probably require an explanation to my boss as to why I spent so much. However, I also don't want to stay at an extremely cheap hotel that doesn't allow me to relax or get things done back at the hotel room or is too noisy to sleep. For me, the availability of a restaurant, a clean, quiet room, and high-speed internet is key to a rewarding experience. These amenities available at a reasonable price lead to a good feeling of sensibility.

Cost savings reduced service and amenities, there was no Equal sweetener and the bathroom amenities and conditions have deteriorated along with the furniture and the bedding. Further infuriating is that they now reduce or restrict internet access unless an additional fee is paid to increase bandwidth.

60 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
I left some clothes at the hotel. I called them while on the road, they searched and found the clothes and the clothes were promptly returned to me free of charge. That gesture was greatly appreciated.

31 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for business
I had a very lovely room that was very clean for the entire stay. I used room service every day that I was there and the food was excellent. I also had the breakfast buffet every morning and the staff and food were wonderful. The hotel was very near to the places I needed to be. The bed was a bit softer than I like, but other than that my stay was a fantastic one!
This hotel made me feel extravagent: I had a room with a king sized bed with gorgeous linens. My room was on the first floor and had a patio that opened directly onto the pool. There was a sitting area and a desk. This room was far more than I would be able to afford on my own!

I had problem with the remote control that took three hours to resolve. Then a light that went out was never replaced. After three calls, I gave up.

Courtyard by Marriott offered an excellent complimentary breakfast buffet. The food was very delightful and delicious. I highly recommend it.
