Courtyard by Marriott Ottawa Hotel

I enjoyed my stay at Ottawa's Marriott Courtyard hotel very much. It was such a great difference compared to my previous stay in Ottawa at the Quality Hotel.

The service at the Marriott was exceptional, I arrived well before check-in time and they had no problem finding me a room!

In addition, this hotel is even closer to the Rideau Center than Quality Hotel!

There is also a lot of restaurants near the hotel, coffee shops and even a bubble tea place!

The beds were pretty comfortable, nothing great but nothing to get mad about and the room decor was nice.

The elevators were always there when you needed them even with the traffic.

The only problem I had with the hotel is that it is quite noisy. You can hear a lot of noise coming from outside even though I was at a pretty high floor. In addition, you can hear everything that is going on in the other room and also in the hallways.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a nice budget hotel near all the great locations to see in Ottawa but if noise is a problem then stay away. I didn't mind the noise so I gave this hotel an 8/10!

I've stayed at the Ottawa Marriott Courtyard many times for business because of it's location right in the Byward Market. Once I've parked my vehicle there's restaurants and bars everywhere around. There's only a very limited amount of real indoor parking but there's a reasonable amount of covered parking (ramp which goes below ground level) and also outdoor parking. It's not a high end hotel but I find the price very reasonable for it's downtown location. It looks to be an older hotel that has probably changed brands a few times. If your staying there try to get an inside facing room. The outside facing rooms can be a bit nosier depending on where your facing. I've only used the restaurant for breakfast since there's a great choice of places to eat all around. Overally I've enjoyed my stays there because of it's central location.

Location, location, location - center of the trendy and lively Byward Market area with shopping all day and lots of nightlife. Also very close to Parliament buildings and several museums.

Parking is an additional $9.50 per day - very reasonable with in/out access via you room card. Staff were very friendly and able to help (movie times and locations, recommended restraurants, etc).

Free wireless access in your room and a public terminal on the main floor. Workout room and pool available from 5:00 to 23:00 hrs.

I'd happily return!
