Courtyard by Marriott New Carrollton Hotel

Was there for my second business trip in a year. The sole elevator was broken yet again. Put me on the 3rd floor rear of the building, so carrying multiple bags up and down was a pain. Getting in just at 10pm, they shut their lobby food thingie down, so had no access to food and had to drive back to the highway for dinner. Rooms are nothing to write home about. My room had a deck, but i had to keep the door shut due to the odor coming from the rear lot. All in all, very disappointing for a Marriott chain.

The front desk was very accomodating and helpful. Unfortunately, the walls were thin and there were several children running around on the floor. This was very disturbing. They only have room service during certain hours. We were disappointed to find that they didn't offer room service for breakfast. The price was great but the hotel was okay. You get what you pay for.

I really like the hot buffet breakfast. The TV could have more channel selections.

This hotel made me feel secure: The staff was concerned about the safety of staff and guests.
