Courtyard by Marriott Mayo Clinic Hotel - Page 2

The front desk staff was very courteous, helpful, and accommodating. I was given an upgrade for both of my stays. The location was fabulous due to my being a patient at the Mayo Clinic. It was comforting for me to be able to go back and forth to the hotel to rest in between appointments.

This hotel made me feel respected: I arrived extremely late and was given an upgrade even though I had changed my plans and needed to stay longer than my reservation indicated.

I did not like the dramatic change in the room rate. The rate varied from seventy-nine to one hundred forty dollars per night based on the day of the week, and specials. The rates are high because the hotel is located next to the Mayo Clinic.

I appreciated the excellent service by the desk clerk.

The toilet did not flush properly. The drain in the shower was rusty and disgusting.

Courtyard by Marriott is clean and the staff is friendly.

Before I retired, I stayed at Courtyard perhaps 50 to 75 nights a year for 10 or more years -- Marriott is a traveler's dream. Now that I am retired, why change?

Since I was going to be a patient at the Mayo Clinic, there was no other place available as close as the place I chose.

This hotel made me feel content: I liked their responsive to questions. They were polite; I received a friendly greeting whenever I encountered an employee on the premises. Coffee and tea were available in the lobby.

They will not be prepared for the crowds for the Super Bowl, nor will any of the hotels and restaurants in Jacksonville.

Marriott is always our first choice.

I recommend it most highly, without reservation.

This hotel made me feel respected: All employees tried to be as pleasant and cooperative to an old man who didn't move very rapidly.

The shower head had a leak in it so that water sprayed over the shower curtain, making a pool of water on the floor. The toilet also leaked, further spreading the puddle of water on the bathroom floor. Also, the room was supposed to have a refrigerator.

This hotel made me feel elegant: The carpets were very nice and plush. The bed sheets were especially soft and pretty. Art on the walls was very interesting. Marble sinks and an in-room hair dryer were nice touches.
