Every staff member at the hotel was pleasant and personable. They assisted me happily. They were helpful and they really seemed to care. I was greeted every time I came in and every time I left.
The room was clean and had extras that other hotels don't seem to have, i.e. coffee, refrigerator, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, ice bucket, internet, down pillows, etc. The bed did not have a comforter on it. It just had a piece of colored material. That was odd, but okay. The pillows that were on the bed, made of down or an imitation of it, they were comfortable. The temperature in the room was easy to control and the heater definitely worked.
The bowed shower curtain was nice. It gave the appearance of more room in the tub and I didn't rub against the curtain while showering.
I would have to say this has been my best stay at any hotel that I have ever stayed at. I am not terribly easy to please. I have worked in customer service before and unfortunately I am "picky" about how I expect to be treated by those in customer service. My husband says I am too hard on people.
Nonetheless, it is unusual when all areas of the stay have been met with great satisfaction. I am greatly pleased to have had this experience. I will choose Courtyard by Marriott or some other Marriott hotel in the future, if I can help it. But now my expectations are pretty high for Marriott hotels. I believe I have been spoiled on this visit. I hope I don't get too disappointed in the future.
