The newly remodeled Courtyard, previously Holiday Inn, is just a Holiday Inn with a paint job and a new sign. Absolutely the worst mattress I've attempted to sleep on in several years. The menu at the resturant consists of deep fried whatever....
07/07/07... This Hotel has not recovered from Katrina, even 2 years after. The pool is closed, the rooms smell of mildew, the floors are filthy, and the trash cans at the front entrance are overflowing.

The hotel is in a good location but it had poor housekeeping service. Housekeeping didn't come to the room until 4:30, that was a little late I thought. The room had been empty all day and they waited until it was occupied to make it up.

Everything was fine except the shower did not work and once it was 'fixed,' there was virtually no water pressure. We were also not told about the rate change on the room the second night until we checked out. We thought this unprofessional.
