Courtyard by Marriott Embassy Row Hotel

Worst hotel experience we ever had! The hotel claims to be non-smoking, yet the hotel smells like smoke on the guest room floors. There is NO such thing as customer services, their staff is rude and not helpful and to make matters worst, the cleaning ladies barge into the rooms without notice even when the "Do Not Disturb" sign is on the door!!! The management is poor and avoids dealing with complaints. Oh and I forgot to mention, there are RATS running right outside in the bushes, you can see them in the business center on the lobby level!!! If you are looking to stay in a hotel in the D.C. area, I highly advise that stay away from this one and DO NOT stay at the Courtyard Marriott - Washington Embassy Row at 1600 Rhode Island, NW. The experience will ruin your entire trip!

We were in Washington DC the last week in February and stayed at the Embassy Row Courtyard. I have stayed in several Courtyards in the past, and this one met and exceeded my expectations.

The room was as expected for a Courtyard, and the staff was friendly and pleasant. It was centrally located (a few blocks away from the White House, and also near the Farragut Metro stop), and one nice bonus was the wonderful, rather high-end restaurant attached to the hotel. We ate dinner there one evening and truly enjoyed it!

I would absolutely recommend this Courtyard to others.

It was a fine basic hotel.

It was conveniently located to transportation. It was very clean and the staff was first rate. I recommend it highly.
