Even though the hotel has become "non-smoking" the former smoking rooms should be completely redecorated (new carpet, new curtains). The odor of cigarette smoke is overpowering when you first open the door to the room. I suggest asking for a room that was always a non-smoking room, as the original non-smoking rooms are still marked. It would have been a much more pleasant stay if not for this.

The hotel had a good location to visit New York City. The shuttle was convenient.

It had a very helpful staff since we had never been to the area and wanted to get around without a lot of cost since we had the whole family. They gave us information on the sights in the area and how to get there.

I was pleased with the service and having the pool to myself. There was an incident when the alarm system went off at four a.m. but the staff was nice and gave us free breakfast.

This hotel made me feel relaxed: They brought towels as soon as I came out of the pool and let me in my room when I locked myself out.
