Courtyard by Marriott El Segundo Hotel - Page 1

Yeah, the room was average...nothing special, that's for sure. What irritated the crap out of me though, was the breakfast. They put in their book "join us for breakfast.." So, we go down there figuring it would save time. Eat and go. We see that it's buffet style, and there is no sign of price or anything like that. We start to pile food onto our plates. Now, we're thinking, this is definitely complimentary...after all...who would charge for microwaved potatoes and bacon (warm pork jerky). It was $51 for that crap. Apparently, we weren't the only ones that thought it was free. I've asked for a refund.

The swimming pools were not operable, nor were the hot tubs or Jacuzzis. The bathroom had a drainage issue and overflowed four times during our visit. We constantly had to ask for additional towels and supplies in our room.

The hotel has excellent service and a location very convenient to LAX.

My stay was to be with my family who'd come in from across the country to celebrate my eightieth birthday. The hotel staff was very gracious and even gave me a small birthday cake! I'd certainly recommend it to anyone. It's close to LAX and the freeways. It has a shuttle bus to LAX.

This hotel made me feel important: They congratulated me for my birthday, upgraded my room, and treated all my guests with great courtesy.

The hotel has an excellent location. I was pleased with the friendly and helpful staff. It was close to LAX airport. They have outstanding rooms.
