60 year old male with a economy budget, traveling for leisure

Don't be misled by the sign on the lobby counter; breakfast is not included. It costs $10 per person unless you pay for a special package which costs, surprise, $10 more than regular prices. That's your "free" meal. In addition, you have no hotel parking available other than valet which is $23 weekdays and $29 on Saturday. I was fortunate to get a $60 rate for a room for 2. Why would I pay half of that to store my car? I parked on the street with no problem except for a 3 block walk, but I saved $52. Be careful of parking regulations. This city is determined to rebuld itself with parking fees and parking tickets.

They had pretty big rooms. The closets were also adequate. It was very comfortable.

I am very likely to return to the Courtyard by Marriott Downtown New Orleans.
