Courtyard by Marriott Brookline Hotel

Right in Brookline Village. Much more formal of a hotel. Great staff, very professional. Great for business or pleasure.

Courtyard Marriott offers free wifi in the lobby. The lobby is very clean and modern. They have complimentary coffee in the lobby. The Courtyard Marriott is very conveniently located to coolidge corner where there are tons of shops and restaurants. The T stop is across the street where you can take it into Boston. You can pretty much walk or take the T to all main attractions. You don't need a car unless you want to get out of the city.

The rude staff gave us a poor impression of this hotel. They are young and inexperienced. We asked for a crib before we checked in, only to be force to call once an hour until 7pm (7 hours later!!!!) to get a beat up piece of junk. The staff didn't care, did nothing to fix anything. The pool was hotter than the hot tub, reason why no one was in it on the hot summer day we stayed there. I am going to cancel my "rewards" membership today. I will never be a Marriott customer again.

I was staying at the Marriott while helping my son move into his new apartment. The room was adequate. Clean. Warm enough or cool enough.

Bed sagged a bit but I did sleep well. During our second day, our room door was locked from the inside, and would not open, and we had to get "sawed" out. Yes. Several hours locked in the room. However, the staff worked very hard to get us out and they tried hard to compensate us for that sort of harrowing experience. They seemed as shocked as we were. The door worked the first day and then the second day..well it just would not disengage. They gave us a new room, of course, and then no problem.

No room service and no food in the room available.
