It was a nice hotel for a reasonable price. Pool is a little smaller than we thought so it can get a little crowded if there are other guests. It is in a convenient location with lots of stores. It is a "little" out of the way from downtown...

Horrible
Compared most hotels, this was awful. The price was the same as our beachfront hotel that offered a suite, breakfast, refrigerator etc. This hotel however was incredibly small, had a view of...nothing, offered no breakfast (except for the "$*...

I visited the DC area to see my husband. I didn't get a chance to eat in the hotel but they had a lot to choose from around the area. The metro is fairly close. It's best to take a car to it and parking overnight is avaliable during the weekend and...

Total no smoking policy is a pain! Found myself hanging out on the balcony. Room seemed small. No space around sink for various stuff. No room service breakfast. Should note this in description.
65 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
We typically chose Marriott hotels and this was the first time we stayed at a Courtyard. We expected the beds to be close to the ones that Marriott has upgraded to in their hotels but that was not so.
I am not likely
to return to the Courtyard Springfield.
I would not recommend it to friends.

This hotel was the perfect place to stay in Springfield, Illinois. Each staff member that I dealt with was incredibly helpful. My stay was during terrible weather and the gentleman at the front desk scraped my windows for me before leaving the next day.
The gentleman at the front desk greeted us. He was very helpful and attentive to our special needs. We were given clear directions to the local restaurants.
I am very likely
to return to the Courtyard Springfield.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

Excellent
My husband & I are in our late 50's, and wanted a room in Springfield for just 1 night so we could visit the new Lincoln museum. The Courtyard was perfect for that. The room was clean, the beds very comfortable, there was a mini fridge in the room....
