Located near I-5, a short walk from the Old Town's shopping, restaurants and historic area and also the Old Town Trolley Station where you can get around San Diego for $5 per day. It's also fairly near Seaworld and the Zoo. The rooms have been recently renovated are very comfortable, clean and well lit, although there can be a little noise from the highway. The hotel restaurant serves a decent breakfast (including eggs cooked to order!) and there are many restaurants nearby for lunch and dinner. The hotel offers high-speed internet access, a 24-hour business center, and in-room spa services if you want to get pampered. There's also an outdoor heated pool and whirpool which is great when the weather's nice. The staff are always helpful and welcoming here.

This hotel is centrally located in Old Town San Diego. It's right on I-5, which is bonus if you're traveling on and off the freeway, but be sure to ask for a room that doesn't look over it, as we heard guests complain about the noise....
