Located near I-5, a short walk from the Old Town's shopping, restaurants and historic area and also the Old Town Trolley Station where you can get around San Diego for $5 per day. It's also fairly near Seaworld and the Zoo. The rooms have been recently renovated are very comfortable, clean and well lit, although there can be a little noise from the highway. The hotel restaurant serves a decent breakfast (including eggs cooked to order!) and there are many restaurants nearby for lunch and dinner. The hotel offers high-speed internet access, a 24-hour business center, and in-room spa services if you want to get pampered. There's also an outdoor heated pool and whirpool which is great when the weather's nice. The staff are always helpful and welcoming here.

It was a typical Marriott Courtyard facility except they did not include breakfast in the room price. It was somewhat difficult to access from the freeway due to the narrow and congested local streets. Parking is extra at fifteen dollars per night and the garage is crowded in the evening. The hotel is consistent in the high quality of the room and the staff. The price is competitive but not a bargain. It is within walking distance to Old Town San Diego tourist area which has more interesting restaurants for breakfast than the hotel.

The hotel had an excellent, knowledgeable staff on all accounts. The employees went out of their way to make us feel at home. The hotel is very well located near Old Town. It is an excellent hotel. The best advice when visiting the Old Town San Diego area is to leave your vehicle at the hotel and walk the two or three blocks into the Old Town area.
