Located near I-5, a short walk from the Old Town's shopping, restaurants and historic area and also the Old Town Trolley Station where you can get around San Diego for $5 per day. It's also fairly near Seaworld and the Zoo. The rooms have been recently renovated are very comfortable, clean and well lit, although there can be a little noise from the highway. The hotel restaurant serves a decent breakfast (including eggs cooked to order!) and there are many restaurants nearby for lunch and dinner. The hotel offers high-speed internet access, a 24-hour business center, and in-room spa services if you want to get pampered. The staff was extremely courteous and friendly.The hotel is within 20 yards of a major highway. Rooms facing the highway get alot of noise. Rooms were well appointed and clean. Staff was excellent. Lobby was cozy with a huge fireplace sitting area....

The $10 parking fee was a surprise. We scrounged around for free on street parking. A short walk from the Old Town trolley station and Old Town proper. The Kai were a nice touch. Had computer issues, so didn't get to use the free wireless internet...

It would have been nice to know before hand that there is a $10.00 daily charge for hotel parking, the alternative is finding a space on the street. The facility was beautiful and would definitely go back again.
