My 3 kids, hubby and I arrived after midnight and rang the guest card operated sliding doors from the underground parking area. No immediate reply. Doesn't help that there is no drive-up and park check-in area, so one member of your party has to wait in the car while the other checks-in above the covered garage, then you grab the trolley and unload, while blocking a good deal of the thru lane. Normally, if all the parking spots weren't taken, it'd be a little easier, but with the entrance on the street level, and the lobby/front desk on the 3rd floor, it makes for a slow check-in (elevators or stairs). We were given a parking permit to display in our car, for the lot across from the hotel. Had a little bit of trouble with the "new" hotel key access code machine, but finally got 1 hotel card that worked. We're in room 401 which is a corner unit facing the street, with a balcony side-view of the ocean. Nice, clean 2 Queen and modern bathroom. It was very helpful to have the microwave and mini-fridge. The partying passersby on the street can be heard from the 4th (of 5) floors, but it goes with the territory. No complaints so far, except with the entrance being so out of the way.
