32 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for business
This is a very convenient location, five minutes from my work, its a beautiful area and close to Napa Valley. However, the hotel is rather a bit tired. I know they are trying to remodel the rooms but they still have a way to go. Especially with the gym, you know it's bad when your health conscious co-workers change hotels to find a place with better workout facilities. And, people can tell that the housekeeping staff does not like their jobs. Several times, they have forgotten to take out the garbage or forgot to leave clean towels or new amenities. And it doesn't help that the housekeeping oversprays the cleaning chemicals to the point that the scent no longer dissipates but remains to the point where it turns stale. Day after day of that, the stale scents gets a bit too much. Not to mention, there is stuff growing on the shower heads there and rust in the irons. Don't shower or iron your clothes before you clean the showerhead or iron. It is not quite up to the Marriott standard. If not for the Marriott Reward points, I wouldn't be there either.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the Courtyard Novato Marin/Sonoma.
I might recommend it to friends.
