31 year old male with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
We booked a room to stay for one night while attending a concert at Mohegan sun. The staff was not friendly at all and the woman who checked us in seemed to be doing us a favor. The shuttle didn't start until 6pm so we opted for a cab in order to make our 5:30 dinner reservation. During check in I asked to sign up for the last shuttle leaving at 12:20am. In a dismissive fashion, the lady said "you're all set" and we were on our way. Fine.
12am rolls around and we get out to be ready for the shuttle. At around 12:25 I call the hotel to ask if it is on the way. I was informed by a lady that it had already left and that we were at the wrong entrance. SHE LAUGHED AS SHE TOLD ME THIS. Because of the stellar check-in experience, we had no idea to be at any specific entrance. We had to pay for ANOTHER cab ride - $40 in cab fairs for the night.
I will never ever go back to this Marriott and will only refer people that I don't like. I'd suggest staying somewhere else when visiting the casinos.

This hotel was one of the worse I've ever stayed in. The walls were SUPER DUPER thin and you could hear EVERYTHING! The window air conditioner was very loud and kept us up all night. The room felt cold and cheap despite it costing almost * bucks....

at first we were givin a room with a wet floor sigh out side it then it was all ready occupied when we opened the door. the staff tried to hold 3 times the amount of the room on my credit card witch i was paying for in cash.

We found the room to be extremely comfortable, especially the bed and pillows. I travel with my own pillows and did not have to bring them from the car. I would definitely stay there again.

This place is a bargain. You get ten dollars of free betting and a free buffet when you take the free shuttle to Mohegan Sun. It is not a beautiful hotel,but it is clean and well serviced. The gym and pool area are small but nice. I would stay...

The stay was generally fine, except for some complaints. Their wireless Internet should be usable in guest rooms, not just the lobby. I want more TV channels. Also, the coffee machine in the lobby was always out of cocoa.
