Overall the stay was wonderful. The only thing that bothered me was that check out time is at 12:00pm and housekeeping starts knocking at the door at 9:00am, then again at 9:30 am, 10:00 am etc... I feel that housekeeping should not come through until after check out time b/c if you need something you can always contact front desk.

I travel for business a lot, and generally try to stay at a Marriott brand. This is an independently owned hotel and was less than the best. I thought the room was very outdated, the lighting was very dark and institutional, the bathroom and the...

Excellent
very nice accommodations, near a great furniture mart (just looking), easy access to RT 40, nice meal choices and we were well rested to enjoy our trip to the Biltmore in Asheville the next day.

This hotel was one of the nicest Courtyard hotels I've ever stayed. The location is great for travelers and also getting a bite to eat. I would only consider this hotel if I stayed in Hickory again.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the Courtyard Hickory.
