We checked into this hotel Nov 13 2008 and checked out Nov 16 as my son and daughter in law were graduating from bootcamp. We had 2 rooms. After we stayed the first night, my son was looking for something and pulled back the sheets on one of the beds. Imagine his shock when he found a pair of pink panties in the bed that did not belong to anyone in our party. The hotel tried to compensate by giving us 1 movie per room and 1 days complimentary breakfast. In my opinion the price of at least that room should have been refunded for that first night.
We would go back but only as a last resort.

My family (10 people) stayed here for my son's graduation at the Great Lakes Naval Station. I made my reservations directly with an employee at the hotel and was told that they had "hot breakfasts each morning". This was true but what...
The staff was pleasant and helpful. The room was very clean. Close to shopping and restaurants within walking distance. Shuttle service to and from the Great Lakes Naval Base was available for a small fee. My family would definitely stay here...
We came for our son's graduation and stayed three days. We had a long flight from Alaska and arrived a bit earlier and were greated with total hospitality. We were able to check in early and enjoy the day. Everyone was very cordial and polite...

I travel to Waukegan from Europe twice a month to go to Abbott and I always stay at the Courtyard. The staff is very knowledgable and professional unlike most hotels in the area. The hotel is very clean and modern - not "cheap" feeling...
Very clean hotel with very modern atmosphere...I stay on business quite a bit in the Gurnee/Waukegan area and it's actually the most luxious hotel in the area.

Their staff was great, the hotel was beautiful with marble floors throughout, and the beds were very luxurious for a hotel. It was extremely clean and the staff was just great. The hotel was just renovated, and is very modern and very nice.
