This hotel is idea! Very nicely kept. Great value for the price. In downtown Charlottesville with quick walks to the UVA campus, the downtown Mall and lots of eateries. Clean rooms. Free, gated parking. Cafe on-site. Friendly and helpful staff....

It's within easy walking distance of the University of Virginia and restaurants. It has a professional and friendly front desk staff. The room was comfortable and all the furnishings were in good repair. Be sure to ask about available discounts, the hotel did not volunteer this information.

I almost always stay at the Courtyard by Marriott hotels whenever possible. They are a consistently reliable chain, and I have a frequent visitor membership that allows me to accrue discounts for multiple stays. I always find them to be clean, efficient and good value.
Practicality is the very basis of my selection of these hotels. You always get what you pay for and know exactly what to expect. It is a reasonable nice and comfortable hotel for a low price. Other places might be cheaper, but you never know for certain if they will be clean and comfortable. The Courtyard hotel always is.

The hotel is in a convenient location. The rooms are distinctly average. They have limited hours at the restaurant -- not great if your plane arrives late.
