This is a great place to stay, and I'll tell you why. The location was good, the motel was great, but their customer service is A+! Especially regarding the day shift host!
I was recently there for a conference and I was on my way home and stopped for gas. I discovered my wallet was not in my purse. After some frantic phone calls that day, my wallet was not found. The next morning, I called, and the day shift host answered the phone. Having established a relationship with him the prior day, as I have an unusual name, he remembered me. I told him my situation, he said he'd re-check the conference room and my motel room. Not too long after my phone call, he called. My wallet was found in my room, behind the credenza!
I so appreciate the extra effort this young man made, it'll be memorable. I'll refer anyone I know needing a place to stay in the Wausau area to check this establishment out.
