We have been vacationing in Pigeon Forge for years. This is also not the first time we had stayed in a Country Inn and Suites. We chose this hotel because we had had excellent stays at this chain in the past.
The hotel looked shabby, public computers were an outrageous fee, breakfast was bad and the room was beyond words! I unfortunately do not have a copy of the complaint I sent to the corporate office but they thought it was bad enough to send us a coupon for a free night. We won't be using it here!
We heard multiple other guests talking about how bad it was. There was something on my bed that looked like it had been "left behind" from a dog's behind. If you ever stay here, although I would never wish it on anyone, look on top of the TV cabinet, I left a date in the dust behind in our room. We have stayed at another hotel in Pigeon Forge owned by Great Smoky Mountain Resorts, who own this franchise and it was bad as well.
