Country Inn & Suites Panama - Page 1

I last stayed at the Country Inn and Suites Amador about 3 years ago. In that time they have not done a thing to the hotel. Even the paint on the room doors is wearing off. This hotel is tired and obviously a 'cash cow' for someone. Cockroaches have discovered the poorly maintained rooms. The TGIF Restaurant is a dump. I think they are still using the same cooking oil from my last visit. One can barely breath from the burnt/used oil smell. Eat outside on the patio so you can pretend it's OK. Messed up our reservation and over charged us. The only thing going for this hotel is it's awesome location at the entrance to the Panama Canal and at the base of the Amador Causeway. Be prepared, if you stay here you're paying for the location only. There are a number of Panama Hotels in the city for less than half the price and twice the value.
