We celebrated our 10 year ann. there and got the mideveil times package. It was a surprise for my husband from me. They set up the room with the chocolate covered strawberries I made and added their wine and chocolates as a gift to us! Even did...
We arranged a block of rooms for our wedding guests to stay there after the reception. There is only one wedding coordinator there, who is rarely available to talk on the phone with you. When we tried calling her to leave her voicemails, we got...
We just stayed there for a wedding party and were given a price since there were a block of rooms reserved. When we checked in, we were given the wedding block price. Then, they left a check out slip by our door with a higher rate. When we spoke to the manager and wedding coordinator about this, they stated that it was because of the rooms we were given. They seemed indifferent that their employees were unaware of these details when dealing with guests staying there. We've talked to the bride and groom about this and they said that they were also given the run around. NEVER stay at this Country Inn and NEVER BLOCK OUT ROOMS at any Country Inn.
My husband and I just got married and it was wonderful! Everyone we worked with were friendly, accommodating, and considerate... everyone but the COUNTRY INN on Roselle Rd in Schaumburg, IL. They have the worst customers service ever!
1. they give you a rate for your guests but then charge them more,
2. they have only one person who you can talk to regarding weddings and she is never available,
3. when you try to leave her a voicemail, the other employees either hang up on you or transfer you in a loop, or transfer you to the wrong person. the wrong people DON'T forwarded their messages either,
4. when another employee does try to help, they give inaccurate information,
5. they told us that our room is complimentary because we were having guests stay there, but then charged us for the room. When we complained about this, the wedding coordinator told us we were only paying $94 for a room that is over $300. We checked the rate on the room sign: it stated the room is worth $185.
I know that the Country Inn is relatively nice for a cheaper hotel, but the people in charge are rude and don't care about pleasing customers. The people who aren't in charge are just incompetent.
Well worth the drive! Clean, quiet, courteous, comfortable, homey. Will definitely go back when needed although it is a bit of a drive from our daughter's place in Chicago.

The ambiance of this hotel was very homey and cozy. We especially enjoyed the big front porch and swing and the free cookies and milk in the evening. The rooms were very clean and quiet.
I liked the down comforters.
I am very likely
to return to the Country Inn & Suites By Carlson Schaumburg.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
