Hotel messed up our reservation and we had to pay $40 more. Owner blamed us and would not refund our credit card which wasn't even supposed to be billed. No apology for the inconvenience. Front desk staff is unfriendly and have poor customer service. Pool was dirty and with the extra money they stole from us, should have bought a bottle of chlorine.

The motel was very clean. However, upon arrival the hotel staff would not honor the quote I received two weeks prior, and RAISED the rate by $20/night. After check-in, we were going to eat lunch, but had to wait because our room door would not close. At the managements earliest convenience, 10 minutes, someone came to work on the door. After ten minutes of working on the door, it finally shut and locked, but then we were locked out of the room for about 1 hour. So even if we wanted to, we couldn't enjoy the UNHEATED, indoor pool. They did allow us to have the second, connecting room, for free that night, but did not offer to give us a cheaper rate for the frist room.

Upon checkout, and we did not inform them we wold be leaving, the manager argued with everyone in the party. When I talked with him he stated that, "I could by all rights charge you for both rooms for the other two nights as there is a 48 hour cancellation policy." Then as I was walking out the door he said "I hope you don't come back."

When we checked into another hotel, and I mentioned where we had stayed, the staff stated that they had others come to their hotel and state that they had similar situations, or overheard other guests at the hotel with similar situations.

Iwill NEVER stay in this motel again, I would just as soon stay a short distance away then go through this again.

I will DEFINITELY NOT refer anyone I know, to this establishment.

We spent a long weekend at this hotel. Three families made a 4 hour trip. The women were going to shop the outlet mall, th emen would monitored the kids in the pool and watch football. We selected it because it had a pool for the four kids. The pool is notheated. It is indoors and not heated. The wind chill htis last weekend was -20 degrees. The nice big hot tub was not working properly and over heated causing the water to be scaulding hot. Residents were putting buckets of ice in it to attempt to cool it to no avail. Needless to say there was no signage to indicate these conditions. We were terribly disappointed and will never stay here again.

The hotel was very clean and had a warm feeling. It’s decorated very nicely too. Everyone who worked there was accommodating.

It has a great location that was convenient to both the Birch Run outlet mall and Frankenmuth. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful with directions from getting to Frankenmuth from the hotel. The rooms were very clean as well as the pool area. They have a great continental breakfast!

I was very much looking forward to a simple weekend away from home and the staff was very friendly and helpful which made my weekend as relaxing as I had hoped.

I always love to stay in these hotels.
