Last November 2006, I entered the Country Inn and Suites by Carlson located on the Southwest Freeway. It was at the recommendation of the front desk manager (also a female) and another woman who represented herself as a regular guest. So, I agreed to spend the night, in fact I spent several nights.
However on the last morning just before check out, I discovered a "peep hole" securely hidden in the shadow of the picture frame. Upon checking out, I notified the assistant desk personnel. I have attempted to meet with the owners of this nationwide hotel franchise but have been avoided. Their sister franchise management company threatened me in hopes that I would simply go away.
Lawyers that I have spoken with have said damages have to be sustained before they can take a case. So, now I must advise all women who travel with their children to be aware. This hotel cares nothing about your safety while lodging there and I do not recommend it to anyone in the world. It is unsafe for women and children and don't believe anything Country Inn and Suites by Carlson says about security and your privacy, because they only want to represent you to peeping toms in a false light.
