We had the pleasure of staying at the Country Hearth Inn for 6 weeks while our new house was being completed. The staff was more than wonderful. The manager (Lisa) and all the shift staff made us feel at home, since it was our home for a while. They

This was truly one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. First off the hotel room was not very clean and was really run down. Secondly when we returned to our room the second night, the room had not bee cleaned, the bed was not made and no new towels were left. We went to the front desk where we were given three bath mats because that was all that was available. We had to go to a room that wasn't occupied to get clean towels after the front desk clerk had already gone to two other rooms only to find out they had not been cleaned and did not have towels. Evidently customers were checked in to these rooms later that night because the next moring a customer was at the front desk complaing that the rooms they were given had not been cleaned from where the previous customers had stayed, the beds had not been changed, there were no clean towels and no toilet paper. The front desk clerk on duty told this customer she was sorry, however, they only have one person to clean the rooms and she must have run out of time. This was not very comforting to me either as I wondered then if our sheets were even clean from when the prior customer had checked out. These hotels are independently owned, so therefore the Company has no say over how they are run, but I can tell you that I would never stay at a hotel with the name Country Hearth Inn again and of course I have made sure to share that information with as many people as I can. I travel frequently with my job and have stayed at numerous hotels and this one was recommended by a local because of location. Obviously they were very sorry for making this recommendation and have told everyone they know in the Raleigh-Knightdale area to stay away from the Country Hearth Inn.

These wonderful folks allowed us to shoot a local independent film in one of their hallways. When everyone else said "No!", they said "Yes!" They were so friendly and gracious! (Our apologies if we bothered any guests during our shoots.) The owner was kind enough to allow us to use several rooms which were immaculately clean. We definitely recommend the Country Hearth Inn for super customer service and great community support!

They helped to explain why the price was different than what we thought it would be, (from on-line reservation) they were friendly in the explanation and did not have a "Don't bother me with small details" attitude, the owner spoke with us and was very nice.
