35 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

Filthy, broken and sad. This once cute, but worn, hotel has nothing left to offer. Nothing works (pool, hot tub, sauna, fitness room) and everything smells. I am saddened by it's demise. The new management seems to think that just being there is enough. There are no services, no hospitality and no effort to fix what is broken. Don't stay here, there are plenty of alternatives.

This once great hotel, is under new management and is a mess. None of the amenities (pool, hot tub, sauna, fitness room) are usable and the hotel itself is filthy. When I complained, I was told to go somewhere else, but my money was not refunded. Sadly, this management has taken the hospitable out of hospitality. Do not stay here, there are plenty of other hotels that want your business and treat you well in Killington. This is a horrible, disgusting, filthy hotel. The bewildered staff deserve medals for enduring this management.

This hotel has changed ownership and is a disaster. I have stayed in this hotel for years and always enjoyed the ambiance, but this year the change was apparent from the moment I walked in. The community fireplaces were not lit and a blaring big screen TV had been installed in the lobby. One of my favorite things about this hotel had been the lack of noisy electronic games in the games room. My kids would play ping pong, chess, or Monopoly, but this year they had installed electronic games in place of the pool table.

The rooms, alway dated, but quaint, were dirty. The common areas were filthy. The pool, hot tub and sauna were didn't work. The exercise room equipment (treadmills) didn't work, the television in the exercise room had to be plugged in to a snaking extension cord. Everything smelled and one other guest found a pile of vomit in the corner of their room. There was no hot water and when I complained, I was told I would be given the hot tub room. Imagine my surprise when I met another guest who had also been promised the hot tub room and as we stood outside it, someone checked into it. The final straw was finding a bug, a hair and something else in my breakfast. They no longer serve the all you can eat pasta buffet, the breakfast buffet is also gone, the cocoa after skiing is a thing of the past and the former innkeeper as well as many of the staff are gone. When I complained the current owner told me to find another place to stay, which I did, and I am currently disputing my bill with the credit card company, because the hotel would not refund my money.

This is a very sad end to a great little hotel.

I am not likely to return to the Cortina Inn and Resort.
I would not recommend it to friends.

The hotel is FILTHY. I am traveling with family, and both rooms had clothes left in drawers, medications, toys, and other misc. garbage left behind. The carpet is dirty. The bar is closed. The pool/hot tub are out of order. We arrived at 6 pm and the room wasn't cleaned until 8 pm. The bathroom door cannot be closed all the way.

When the head of our household went to the front desk to complain, there was a line of other hotel guests complaining to the management.

The hotel used to be a hidden gem with superb food and service. The place was sold a couple of times in the past 3 or 4 years and has become the hotel from hell with dirty rooms, pet droppings everywhere, tennis courts overgrown with weeds, no gift shop, bar closed most days, no brunch and very surley staff.
