My accommodation, booked months ago, wasn't ready when I arrived. There was luggage piled up everywhere belonging to all the other people presumably trying to escape. My studio apartment had a shower head falling out of the wall, no hot water, the tiles on the floor were not clean, and other parts of the bathroom were in a bad way. The worst part was the noise. My apartment was right next to the front door. All night long the door slammed, and people crashed up and down the stairs. I wouldn't touch this place with a barge pole, or ever recommend it to anyone.

PS my trip purpose was a week in Boston to explore; Copley completely me off Boston. Don't be fooled by the charming photographs on the net. It's dreadful.

I made an online reservation for $70 per night, plus tax.

I called the hotel the next day to find out check-in times, and was told at that time they were not honoring the rate I had reserved. They were more than happy to reserve me a room for $120 per night, plus tax. The employee said "They were going to call me" to let me know my rate was nearly doubling. Yeah, right.

I had my cell phone with me all day, they never even tried. I'm sure they were hoping I would show up and agree to pay almost double to avoid being on the street. If you want to get ripped off by a hotel with no business ethics, then by all means, stay at this hotel.
