The Conch House is centrally located on the beach, on the Boardwalk. The hotel has recently been renovated to provide the most up to date comforts and amenities. The guest rooms are roomy and comfortable. The hotel is located in a trendy area in Daytona Beach and is near restaurants, bars, nightclubs and shopping of all sorts. The hotel prides itself on it's pleasant staff and smiling faces. My family and I stayed at the Conch House for the 2007 Daytona 300 and 500. This hotel is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. It is a dump and should be condemned!
I'm not picky at all, but I have to say is that this place is nasty! The employees were nice and I felt sorry for them that they had to work there. It was quiet and right on the beach which was nice. We tried to save some money (and still spent $800 because it was race week) on our hotel but do yourself a favor and spend the extra money. I can't imagine how bad it is during spring break!

Bed linen was never changed. You had to take towels yourself. Broken doors, dirty windows, noisy air-conditioner. Additional mandatory charge for a safe in the room.
