We were very disappointed with the hotel. We reserved a king suite and they tried to put us in a double queen. The room was dark and dingy. The cleanliness was questionable at best. We needed to keep the curtains pulled because the only window was...

The clerk on duty was friendly and funny. One morning we asked for directions and that staff member took extra time to go over a map and give us the lay out of the area. Her directions were extremely helpful.
Would definitely stay there again!

Excellent
The only thing we disliked was it is not on the beach!!!! It is a fantastic place to stay. Service was great, the price was great, the room was oversized and very nice, and we were pleasantly surprised with the free breakfast every morning. I was...

The front desk was very friendly. The receptionist looked up directions to a restaurant for us and gave us printed directions. The room was very clean and welcoming.

We stay here for business and leisure. When my husband has to work we follow him out of town if the kids aren't in school. We go to the beach during the day, and go out at night to dinner, or we bring it back to the room.
He enjoys it because he gets to see the kids when he is out of town for a couple of days. It's a nice get-away hotel and the beach is just over the bridge about 5 minutes, really no big deal. Do use the park and pay the nominal fee instead of paying for metered parking on the street. Its very easy and worth it and not much more money. They have showers and changing areas with bathrooms and a playground. Also, theres a little vending area with ice cream to sell during the summer months which is nice right off the beach when it is hot!
Get a room overlooking the pool and on the balcony you can hear music from the shopping area at Mount Pleasant Town Center. If you want to walk across the street you can even make it to all the wonderful shops over there and a must is Sweet Juleps! A wonderful sweet shop! They have the best pralines I have ever had! Gotta get them, I even shipped some of them to Australia! The pool is nice and the breakfast is always hot and a favorite for my kids. Their staff is always friendly to my kids.

Our stay was very enjoyable. When we arrived there was a problem with our room, but the lady at the desk was quick to fix the problem and made us happy by offering us a discount.

The hotel was the best I have ever stayed. I recommend it highly for a stay in the Charleston area -- even versus a downtown hotel or inn. It's very close to the beach and town.
We have stayed at the Comfort Suites many times and each time is as enjoyable as the next. The Breakfast is wonderful and the staff is always friendly and helpful. We love the area in which the hotel is located. With the Beach, Shopping and...
